Opera Santa Barbara presents a holiday concert featuring mezzo-soprano Diana Tash and pianist Armen Guzelimian on Wednesday, December 7 at 5:30 pm at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.
Part of our Opera on the Go! Series, this recital is Opera Santa Barbara’s holiday gift to YOU! Enjoy works by Händel, Bach, Poulenc, Korngold, Obradors, Granados, and others. Mezzo-Soprano Diana Tash has been hailed as “radiant” by the LA Times, “stylish” by the San Diego Union and “skillful” by the NY times. Grammy–nominated pianist Armen Guzelimian enjoys both national and international acclaim as both soloist and collaborative partner to such artists as Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Lucia Popp, and Thomas Hampson. Mr. Guzelimian and Ms. Tash frequently appear together in recital, with performances in venues including Carnegie Hall and Zipper Hall (a live recording of which was released on CD as “Diana Tash In Recital” with LML Records).
