Patricia (Tricia) Dixon is a long-time volunteer in the Santa Barbara non-profit community, even before retiring from an extensive career in banking and finance. She served on the board of the Santa Barbara Symphony League for 10 years specializing in event planning and continues to volunteer as a Symphony Music Van docent. Tricia spent 10 years on the board of the Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital Auxiliary and continues to volunteer in their thrift shop.  She was a board officer for the Santa Barbara Navy League Board, the National Charity League of Santa Ynez, and on the Girl Scout Council of Santa Barbara. She has volunteered with Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, the “Big Sister” program in Santa Barbara, and helped with fundraising for major events for the Santa Ynez Equestrian Center. She is an active supporter of the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, the Santa Barbara Symphony, the Granada Theater, Camerata Pacifica and Opera Santa Barbara. Tricia majored in Math & French at UCSB; earned a private pilot’s license; and played competitive inter-club tennis for 35 years. She is a member of the Santa Barbara Yacht Club where she enjoys boating and kayaking.
