It’s tenor time! Today’s Traviata clips are two of the new generation of tenors, and their take on Alfredo’s aria. Love them both for different reasons – Polish tenor Piotr Beczala has such a beautiful and even sound – really gorgeous throughout the aria! Effectively simple performance. Jonas Kaufmann (here in a rather strange production from Paris) gives a performance with more fire, and his unique baritonal sound is exciting to listen to – gutsy and raw. Enjoy!
