Dr. Dylan Minor earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Economics at UC Santa Barbara and a PhD and Masters of Science in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, University of Berkeley.

He has taught MBA students at Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management. His research has been featured in a variety of media, including: ABC, Academic Minute, CBS, Chicago Tribune, CNBC, Financial Times, Forbes, Fortune, Harvard Business Review, Harvard Business School Working Knowledge, Harvard Gazette, Human Resource Executive, INC.com, NPR (All Things Considered), Quartz, USA Today, Wired, WSJ, and the Washington Post.

In 2009, he founded Omega Financial Group, a wealth management firm, in Santa Barbara that he still manages today. In 2017, he also founded Argos Global Advisors, a hedge fund based in Santa Barbara. Finally, he engages in expert consulting for companies, including both large companies and startups, in the areas of finance, strategy, data analytics, social responsibility, and strategic human resource management.

After serving as Chairman of the Anacapa Board for the 2017-2018 academic year, Dylan moved into the role as Anacapa’s Head of School in July, 2018. Under his leadership, Anacapa will focus more heavily on entrepreneurship, differentiation, and responsive curriculum.
