We have decided that due to continued restrictions in California through the end of December, that we must postpone our mid-season opera, Little Women, that was scheduled for January 15 & 17, 2021 at the Lobero Theatre. We will reschedule the production as part of our 2021-22 Season. We are hoping to return to live opera with The Daughter of the Regiment on March 26 & 28, 2021 and La Traviata on June 4 & 6, 2021. OSB remains committed to these productions. We are encouraged both by Governor Newsom’s statement that with the approval of the new vaccines “we have a light at the end of the tunnel”, and by the progress made this fall in the advocacy for the reopening of the performing arts statewide.

We want to thank you for your patience as a subscriber this season. For many of you, there have been multiple cancellations and postponements over the last nine months across many performing arts groups. The postponement of Little Women means that we are ending our  three-opera subscription season for 20|21. Due to the uncertain nature of the next six months, we are asking you to decide now about your whole season subscription. If The Daughter of the Regiment and La Traviata take place as planned, tickets will go on sale for each individual production. Subscribers will receive first access to tickets before the general public.

At this time, you will have the following options regarding your season subscription and we ask if you would please consider the following:

• Turn your season subscription into a tax-deductible donation.
  Your donation will lend support to our efforts to bring live opera back, and to support artists in our community and our region, and you will receive a valuable year-end tax deduction, along with our deepest gratitude.
• Rollover your current subscription with credit towards next season.
  Secure your seats and lock in prices for OSB’s 2021-22 Season.
• Request a full refund for the 20|21 season.
  We hope you will join us for more online content and our planned live productions in 2021.
