Tenor Theo Lebow spent the 2012/2013 season as a Seattle Opera Young Artist, where he made his mainstage debut as the First Prisoner in Fidelio, and sang Edoardo in the YAP production of Un giorno di regno. Other recent performances include Count Belfiore in Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera with San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program, Scientist in Menotti’s The Last Savage with Santa Fe Opera, and Fenton in selections from Verdi’s Falstaff at the Richard Tucker Foundation Gala. He has made recent debuts in both Weill Hall (singing selections from the Brahms LiebesliederWaltzer) and in Carnegie Hall (in Mendelssohn’s Lobgesang). Recent accomplishments include an encouragement award from the Gerda Lissner Foundation, semi-finalist placement in the Marcello Giordani Foundation, and regional finalist in the Metropolitan National Council Auditions.
